About Michael Herrick

I recently got married to my beautiful and loving wife Kara. We are new to Colorado having moved to the area from California. Prior to Thrivent, I spent 10 years as a Police Officer with the Santa Barbara Police Department. Prior to that, I played college football at Ole Miss and Northern Arizona University. In my spare time I love to spend time with family and friends. You'll often find me on the golf course, at church or exploring the outdoors with my wife.

With a background as a former college quarterback and a police officer for 10 years, I have honed a unique set of skills that have contributed to my success as a financial advisor. My time as a quarterback taught me leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to perform under pressure, all of which are essential in guiding clients through complex financial decisions. My experience as a police officer further developed my analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to serving others. Combining these experiences, I bring a disciplined, proactive, and client-focused approach to financial advising, ensuring that my clients receive tailored and effective financial solutions.
