Back to School BBQ

The Hiawatha School Supply fund is committed to ensuring that every student has access to the essential school supplies needed for a successful education. Through fundraising efforts and community partnerships, they raise funds to provide all supplies for grades Pre-K-4th Grades. Their mission is to bridge the gap in educational resources, empower young minds, and foster equal opportunities for academic achievement, so all children can thrive and reach their full potential.


The Back to School BBQ is to help welcome HES teachers, students and their families back to the building and to celebrate and continue raising funds for the School Supply fund to continue on year after year.


The Lentz Express food truck will be serving BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks and there will be a pop up popsicle stand by Life 88.5 Radio Station as well as yard games.
