How do Thrivent Action Teams work?
Gather a volunteer team of friends, family or neighbors to put on a fundraiser, educational event or service activity—like organizing a school supply drive, or hosting a car wash fundraiser. We’ll provide the resources you need to get started, including up to $250 in seed money.

Annual Christmas Card Photo Event
You’re Invited to Our Annual Holiday Photo Event!
Date: Saturday, November 22nd | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: 134 W Lake St, #100, Bloomingdale, IL 60108
Bring your family and join us for a festive day filled with holiday cheer! Capture the perfect Christmas card moments with a professional photographer, beautiful holiday backdrops, and fun props for everyone to enjoy.
Throughout the event, we’ll have holiday music, coffee, and sweet treats to keep the spirit bright!
This year, we’re supporting The Salvation Army by packing hygiene kits for the homeless. We invite you to lend a hand or bring items to contribute. Together, we can make a difference for those in need this season.
Items we are collecting:
• Bar/Liquid Body Soap • Conditioner • Deodorant (for men and women) • Lip Balm • Body Lotion • Sanitary Napkins/Tampons • Shampoo • Small Towel • Socks (adults and children) • Toothbrush • Toothpaste • Travel-Size Mouthwash • Comb/Brush • Band-Aids

We ask that you arrive 10–15 minutes early and photo-ready so we can keep everything running smoothly.

TMN Chicagoland Region: Let It Be Christmas Concert
Join Thrivent Member Network Chicagoland Region for an afternoon of service and celebration at Let It Be Christmas.
We are excited to welcome Thrivent clients and friends to an afternoon of service and Holiday festivities. Guests will enjoy a ticket to the Let It Be Christmas at Community Christian Church in Naperville, refreshments, desserts and will serve their community.
Returning for the 18th season, Let It Be Christmas (The Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, George, and Ringo) is Epic Theatre Company's original Beatles rock-opera nativity story told in two acts. Follow Mary and Joseph down "the long and winding road" to Bethlehem as a full band and ensemble use the timeless music of The Beatles to tell the greatest story of all time. It's a production that's full of Beatles classics and outstanding performances. Fans return to see it again and again! Usher in the Christmas season with the exciting gathering.
This performance is approximately two hours with a 15-minute intermission.
