How do Thrivent Action Teams work?
Gather a volunteer team of friends, family or neighbors to put on a fundraiser, educational event or service activity—like organizing a school supply drive, or hosting a car wash fundraiser. We’ll provide the resources you need to get started, including up to $250 in seed money.

Annual Christmas Card Photo Event
You’re Invited to Our Annual Holiday Photo Event!
Date: Saturday, November 22nd | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: 134 W Lake St, #100, Bloomingdale, IL 60108
Bring your family and join us for a festive day filled with holiday cheer! Capture the perfect Christmas card moments with a professional photographer, beautiful holiday backdrops, and fun props for everyone to enjoy.
Throughout the event, we’ll have holiday music, coffee, and sweet treats to keep the spirit bright!
This year, we’re supporting The Salvation Army by packing hygiene kits for the homeless. We invite you to lend a hand or bring items to contribute. Together, we can make a difference for those in need this season.
Items we are collecting:
• Bar/Liquid Body Soap • Conditioner • Deodorant (for men and women) • Lip Balm • Body Lotion • Sanitary Napkins/Tampons • Shampoo • Small Towel • Socks (adults and children) • Toothbrush • Toothpaste • Travel-Size Mouthwash • Comb/Brush • Band-Aids

We ask that you arrive 10–15 minutes early and photo-ready so we can keep everything running smoothly.
