Matthew J Klandrud, ChFC®, RICP®, CKA®, FIC Financial Consultant Matthew Klandrud is a Financial Consultant with the Valley Consulting Group in Mesa AZ. Matthew joined Thrivent in October of 2007 with the goal of helping others navigate the uncertainty of life and combining faith with finances. Matthew lives in Tempe with his wife Jennifer and their two kiddos Riley and Keegan. The Klandrud family attends worship at Gethsemane Church which is also located in Tempe. When not working, Matthew enjoys spending summer days playing in the pool with the family or escaping the heat in northern Arizona camping. Service to the community has been a focus since the beginning of his time with Thrivent, previously served as congregational president of Gethsemane Church and Academy, as well as board treasurer of Duet: Partners in Health and Aging.

Stacey Marz, FIC, CLTC Financial Consultant Stacey began her career in financial services in 1998 and joined Thrivent Financial in the spring of 2009. She specializes in retirement accumulation and income planning, investments, life insurance, extended care and estate strategies. Stacey is married to Jonathan and has an adult son named Mac. In her time spent outside the office, Stacey enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, kayaking, yoga and reading. Some of the charitable organizations that Stacey supports include Days for Girls Int’l, Habitat for Humanity of Central AZ, Mesa United Way, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Andrew Miller joined the Valley Consulting Group in the Spring of 2021 as an Associate. Andrew has been in the financial services industry since 2012 focusing on investment planning and retirement distribution strategies. He enjoys working with families to develop and understand their financial goals. Andrew lives in Albuquerque with his wife Mandi and their two daughters. The Miller family are active members of Shepherd Lutheran Church. During the summer months you will find Andrew and his family hiking and camping in the New Mexico mountains or playing a round of golf.  

Tori joined Thrivent in the spring of 2023. With a rich background in customer service, management, and portfolio work, she is now on track to be a financial advisor here at Valley Consulting Group. After experiencing her own financial hardships, she has a deep passion for helping others and looks forward to the difference she can make in others’ lives. She loves curry, crafts, bad jokes, and she once upon a time did an internship at Walt Disney World.

Julie joined Thrivent in the summer of 2021. She worked as an Occupational Therapist for 15 years and enjoys making connections with people. Julie supports the daily operations of Valley Consulting Group. She considers herself a lifetime learner and believes that knowledge is power. In her spare time, Julie enjoys reading, relaxing and being a cat mom to Rose and Toby.
