About Steven Alderete

I am proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. My greatest passion is to work closely with people. Just like during my time in ministry, I love helping those around me identify where they are today, where they want to go, and how I can help them get there. Money touches every area of our lives, so I see my work with you as a ministry – to help people improve their financial situations, families, and communities.

As a kid, I had a paper route in my community to earn money. As I collected the money and it started to accumulate, I remember thinking, “What am I supposed to do with this?” I knew I should be doing something good with it, but I didn’t know exactly what that was. I think that same question continues into adulthood for many people. Maybe it is a bit more nuanced, “What is the best thing for me to do with this money to accomplish my goals?” That is where I help – identifying the strategies that help you accomplish your goals.

When I am not working with clients, I love spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, playing disc golf, and woodworking – my favorite way to give gifts to my friends and family!
