Mike is a Financial Advisor with Thrivent for the past 20 years who specializes in retirement income planning and estate planning. He grew up in North Jersey but has resided in Dillsburg for the past 15 years with his wife and their two children. Mike attends Immanuel Church, which is located in Mechanicsburg, where he is involved in several ministries. One of the ministries he leads is the Men’s ministry. He enjoys fellowship and growing relationships with the guys whether it’s around the firepit, at a church retreat, or serving the community together. Outside of work, you can find Mike at the local dirt track or camping with his family and friends. Kayaking is also an activity he enjoys in his free time; in his words, “It’s how I relax.” Giving back to the community by volunteering with local charities and organizations is also something that is very important to him. One of Mike’s passions is to grow old with his wife, May, with no regrets and enjoy new experiences often, building new memories that they will cherish together for many years.

Mike joined Thrivent because of the opportunity to guide others on their financial journey and along the way, share a walk of faith with them. Having the ability to help his clients with their finances and providing for his family has inspired Mike to continue the work he has been doing since 2003.

Ron is a Financial Advisor with Thrivent for the past 11 years who specializes in retirement income planning and college planning. He grew up in New Jersey but currently resides in Mechanicsburg, after moving from the Pacific Northwest region in 2007. In June 2023, Ron married his wife Kim surrounded by all their friends and family. He has three children and three step children; Reagan, Zicora, Ledahnein, Rebecca, Ryan and Neila. Reagan is currently working as a paralegal at a law firm in Harrisburg, PA, Zicora is teaching at a charter school in Camden, NJ, Ledahnein is in his junior year at Temple University studying Psychology, Rebecca is in her junior year at Juniata College studying Biology, Ryan will be starting school at Shippensburg in the Fall where he will study Cyber Security and Neila will be entering her junior year of High School at CASA in Harrisburg where she has a theater art focus. When he is not in the office, you can find Ron working on home renovation projects or traveling with his wife and family. He also enjoys golfing with his family and friends as well as woodworking in his garage.

Ron joined Thrivent because he thoroughly enjoys guiding families in achieving their financial goals while staying true to their faith. He values our teams “3 To” strategy; to understand, to guide, to achieve and uses this to fulfill his client’s needs. The long-term relationships he has built with his clients have inspired him to continue to serve the community for the past decade and he looks forward to nurturing these relationships while building new ones.

Chris is a Financial Advisor with Thrivent for the past 7 years who specializes in retirement income planning and insurances (including Medicare). He grew up in Lancaster but has lived in Harrisburg for the past 22 years with his wife Missy and dog Bailey. In 2022, they welcomed their daughter Scarlett and have been enjoying life as new parents. His home church is St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church, which is located in Harrisburg. When not working, you’ll find Chris enjoying the outdoors & most likely in his garden. Chris also enjoys volunteering with organizations that focus on helping young adults, such as Cigars for Good and Lower Susquehanna Synod Leadership Training Camp.

Chris joined Thrivent because of the opportunity he gets every day to serve clients while remaining true to his values. He has obtained multiple designations throughout his years with Thrivent. One being BFA, or Behavioral Financial Advisor designation, where the primary objective is to help clients focus on making decisions that are not entirely emotionally driven but focus more on decisions that align with their values. He draws on the ability to have a positive impact on a family with their finances as his inspiration for his work. In an industry that is constantly changing, Chris acknowledges the continuous necessity to stay educated with his clients ever changing needs and continues to work towards additional designations.

Doug is Financial Advisor with Thrivent for the past 6 years and he specializes in retirement income planning and working with small business owners and entrepreneurs. Doug and his wife, Tiffany, both originally from Chambersburg, moved to Carlisle for 12 years after they married but made the choice to venture back to their home community of Chambersburg and have lived there since 2013, with their daughter Ayanna and two pets, Malachi (the lovable but lazy Rottweiler) and Poppy (his tiny cat friend). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter at their cabin in Nothern PA where he goes hunting, fishing and kayaking. He also enjoys cheering on his daughter at her sport events and theatrical performances. Doug is involved with a plethora of volunteering initiatives with Thrivent Builds & Habitat for Humanity, Shalom Christian Academy and other great organizations across Franklin County.

Financial planning is actually Doug's second career after a career in Medical & Surgical Sales where he coached his colleagues on their finances. He made the career switch so that he could fulfill his desire to help folks with their finances while still being active in the community. Something that has truly inspired Doug is heaving clients come back to me and express their immense relief from coming to a clear understanding of their financial health.

Rob has been with Thrivent for a year now and is centrally located in Lancaster, PA with his wife Rachael and their daughter, Addison. Rob grew up in many different places due to his father's involvement in the U.S. Navy - some of those places include Virginia Beach, Rhode Island, Okinawa, Japan, Mobile, AL, and Carlisle, PA. As a former cook and high school culinary teacher, in his free time, Rob enjoys cooking and baking with his family as well as hosting friends at their home. Rob's favorite part about working at Thrivent is "being part of an organization where my faith and values align with my clients; helping them accomplish their goals and confidently approach the future."

My primary focus as a Financial Advisor is to inspire and guide my clients to protect themselves from uncertainty and to provide the tools to help them safeguard and grow their wealth. I am enthusiastic about helping others to plan for retirement with the goal of providing financial freedom and to help them live the life they imagine. It is Thrivent’s mission - helping Christians be wise with money and to live life generously - that attracted me at an early age to a career that combines strong values with finances. I have been helping countless individuals to fulfill this mission and I earnestly look forward to continuing to do so for many more years.

While growing up, my parents played an influential role inside of my life as they encouraged my three brothers and I to pursue godly discipline and wisdom. They showed us every day how to be a biblical steward through working hard, diligent saving, debt avoidance, and living generously. They also showed us that not everyone is in the same financial position, and it is dependent on the decisions that we make throughout life. While attending college I had the opportunity to see first handed the results of decisions parents made throughout their lifetime and the negative affects it had on their children’s lives. It is my desire because of this to help individuals navigate life so that they know they will not only be taken care of themselves but also their children and so on. It is my privilege and honor to help serve and create a community that is designed on pursuing financial freedom for multiple generations.

Currently, I reside in Elizabethtown, PA where I grew up. With my free time I enjoy getting outdoors and going hiking, playing football and basketball, going on adventures with friends and family, slowly learning how to cook, and always looking to improve. Presently, I attend Community Fellowship Church in Lancaster, PA. I enjoy staying active with the Young Adults community at CFC, while looking for different ways to serve. 

Zach joined our team in 2021, currently working as a practice support associate. He grew up in the Mechanicsburg area prior to attending West Chester University, where he graduated with degrees in economics and finance, and continued his education at Duquesne University, obtaining his Juris Doctorate. Zach welcomed his first son, Jackson in 2023 and continues to enjoy watching him explore and in his words, “grow up entirely too fast.” Zach and his partner, Ali, love to take Jackson to the golf course where he can run and play while mom and dad get to sneak in a few holes. If he’s not golfing or working, you’ll likely find Zach in the kitchen or manning the grill, cooking up new recipes for Ali and Jackson to try. Zach’s favorite part of working for the Fusion Team is the willingness of the whole team to jump in and help when needed, and their ability to be a resource for their clients as Thrivent has been for his own family. 

Charlene joined the Fusion Financial Group as an Office Professional in October of 2021. She grew up in the coal mining region of Hazleton, PA but currently resides in Mechanicsburg, PA for the last 29 years with her husband, Keith. They have three adult children, Luke, Thomas, and Rachel. Charlene attends West Shore Free Church where she enjoys helping out with the College Outreach Ministry. In her time outside of work, Charlene loves cooking and baking, doing fireside s’mores with friends and family, and playing and watching sports, especially football. Charlene has been a Steelers fan since the Terry Bradshaw years. “Joining the Fusion Financial Group was a God moment. It was a job opportunity that would allow me to be more involved interacting with people in the community and help acquire new skills along the way. I love the generosity element of Thrivent and am continually inspired by people who put their faith into action by being an extension of Christ, through encouragement, service, giving, and interaction with others. I desire to live a life where I can impact others in a positive way to spur them on in their faith."

Kayla joined the Fusion Financial Group in October 2021 as an Office Professional. She was born and raised in Harrisburg and currently resides in Steelton, PA with her husband, Max, their son, Jaxon, and their dog, Chibs. Kayla attended Harrisburg Area Community College for one year and then moved onto West Chester University, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Culture and a minor in Human Resource Management and graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2021. As an Office Professional, she not only does administrative duties but also oversees the marketing and event planning for the Fusion Financial Group. When she is not working, Kayla enjoys watching sports and Grey's Anatomy, spending time with family and friends, going on walks, and weekend beach trips to the family beach house in Delaware.

Kelly is an Office Professional in our Chambersburg office. She was born and raised in Plant City, FL; a small community located between Tampa and Orlando, most notable for farming strawberries. Soon after graduating high school, Kelly started a small medical transcription service that proved to be a lucrative career for more than 25 years while raising her beautiful daughter, Harli. Technology eventually advanced and has since replaced the need for transcriptionists thus opening up an opportunity for a career change. She was first introduced to Doug by his wife in 2019 and began working part-time for Thrivent scheduling appointments for him. Fast forward five years, and she is now working as his office professional in the Chambersburg office and is licensed in life, health and annuities. Outside of work hours, she is the captain of a billiards team on Wednesdays and enjoys her shooting league once a week. On the weekends, she spends most of her time racing her S10 drag truck at local tracks along with her father, daughter and son-in-law who also race.
