Christmas traditions, family recipes & more
Here you'll get a deeper look at our team's family Christmas traditions, recipes, travel, etc.:
Chris - "Matching pajamas on Christmas morning!"
Charlene - "A Christmas tradition my family used to do when growing up is we got to open one present on Christmas Eve. My brothers and I couldn’t wait to get home from the Christmas Eve service, get in our pajamas, and sit anxiously, but not so patiently, for my dad and mom to bring that one gift. Of course, my mom would be out in the kitchen making hot cocoa and getting out the limited number of Christmas cookies we could have with it. Then came time for the one gift, all wrapped so nicely. That hope as a young child that it was one of the items on your wish list. Nope! For some reason my mom always enjoyed giving us socks or underwear. And now it is a tradition I have carried on with my kids."
Kayla - "We open our 'Christmas Eve' gift which always holds our matching pajamas, a pair of warm socks and for my son, his 'A Night Before Christmas' book. So, we go put on our pajamas, put out Santa's cookies with milk and read the book before bed. It is one of my favorite nights of the year since becoming a mom."
Zach - "Every year my sister and I sat at the top of the stairs on Christmas morning, waiting for our parents to see if Santa had stopped at our house through the night. The anticipation was palpable as we listened for the ok to run down to the living room. As we got older, we quickly realized that this "Santa check," may have been less of a check, and more of a coffee fill up for mom and dad, but we loved it nonetheless. My sister and I still joke about this tradition today and can't wait to pass it down to our own children."

Toys for Tots
For the third year, our office is a Toys for Tots drop off location!
Spread the Christmas joy to those in need in our community by donating a new, unwrapped toy preferably around $10 or more. Each child participating in the program will receive two gifts. Books are also needed; three books count as one gift for a child.
We will be accepting donations until the week of December 16th!
If you are unable to purchase a toy and drop it off, you can also make a monetary donation to the local Toys for Tots center here.

Verse of the week - December 2-6
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
