"I was born in Minnesota and grew up in southern Illinois. I graduated with my bachelors in business management from Southern Illinois University in 1995. I moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2003, started working with Thrivent in 2004 after being in the mortgage industry. I obtained my Certified Financial Planner designation in 2010 and my Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 2021. My practice involves fee based financial planning, insurance solutions, wealth transfer strategies, and asset management. For 22 years I have been trying to get people on the right financial path and inspiring them to live generously. I have been married for 31 years and have a 22-year-old son and a 24-year-old daughter. "

I am very passionate about the company's purpose driven missions, and various generosity programs. I am a proud mother of two adult sons, and I am deeply involved in my community. I am an active member of Central Baptist Institutional Church, Tuskegee University National Alumni Association, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In my free time, I enjoy quality moments with family, attending music concerts, traveling, reading, outdoor activities, and attending local events across the city.

“I spent 25 years in the distribution business before starting with AAL in 1999.

Most of my career was in Maryland, my home state, before moving to Florida in 2017.

I retired from full time advisor with Thrivent in 2020, and am currently in an Associate role, working part time for Dan.  I am a member of Hodges Blvd Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville since 2018.

My son and his wife are also living in FL, as well as my two grandchildren. When I am not working or babysitting grandchildren. You can find me traveling, playing golf and fishing.”

Bill has worked 25 years on Wall Street in equity investment with such firms as Merrill Lynch, ING, and Prudential. Bill is very passionate on following the markets and interpreting Market Volatility. Bill is enjoying all Florida has to offer.

“I was a Chicagoland native for almost half of my life, before moving to Florida some 23 years ago. We moved to Jacksonville sight unseen and have not regretted the move since. I love living in the Florida lifestyle of sun, sand, and pool! Before Dan and I started our family, I was in the home furniture and window covering business. Once we decided to have children, I stayed home with the kids until they were halfway through elementary school. When I decided to join the workforce again, I became an administrative assistant at the kids school and stayed there until Dan asked me to join his practice. With my experiences of volunteering, fundraising, and event planning, with church and school, it has been a very natural progression with me at Dan’s practice. The joke is I get to boss Dan around at home and at work.”
