Sunday Spotlight! Janice used a Thrivent Action Team to help her church bring the nativity to life. "It was a beautiful night for our Live Nativity, rather chilly, but clear & perfect. The small choir sang Christmas carols near the manger & 2 church members took turns reading the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke. Our church youth portrayed Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, angels & the wise men. Three adorable month-old babies portrayed Jesus because the chilly night would be too much for one baby. There were live sheep, goats & cows in a primitive corral next to the manger. Guests were able to walk down a lighted path to watch the live portrayal. A hot chocolate & cider bar was available before guests went down the path to the manger. We had a free will donation soup supper right nearby in our school basement where guests warmed up & visited. Many new friendships were made. There were 260 visitors in attendance plus actors, choir members, readers & those serving food. We had approximately 35-40 members helping with setup, including actors, choir members, readers & food servers. Donations amounted to $2,500.00. Regina Pralle was the main organizer of our Live Nativity. We used Thrivent funds to purchase material for costumes & supplies to make the food. Thank you to Thrivent for your generosity in helping make this possible." - Janice Heuer #livegenerously #brickstreetfinancialgroup #livenativity See thrivent.com/social for important disclosures.

Standing with my dad—a 5th‑generation farmer—I’m proud to be a part of the 6th generation involved in farming and agriculture. He always taught me that having a plan is key—and it’s essential for long‑term farm succession. A buy‑sell arrangement funded with life insurance can help make the transition smoother when the unexpected happens, keeping the operation moving to the next generation. ➡️ Message me to talk through what this could look like for your family. #FarmSuccession #LifeInsurance #BusinessContinuity #AgBusiness #FamilyFarm #LegacyPlanning #NextGenAg Disclosure: For disclosure information, see Thrivent.com/social. If requested, a licensed insurance agent/producer may contact you and financial solutions, including insurance, may be solicited.

Here is a picture of my son standing in the loft of my family's barn---built in 1859. It’s more than a building; it’s a reminder that every generation made choices to protect what matters so the next one could keep it going. For many farm families, life insurance is part of that plan. It can create liquidity to help equalize inheritances for non‑farming heirs, address debt, or support a buy‑sell—without forcing a sale at the wrong time. ➡️ Message me to schedule a conversation about protecting your family’s farm and legacy.
