Sunday Spotlight! "Thrivent, Thank you so much for allowing me to expand the variety of literacy center activities in my 4th grade language arts classroom for Zion Lutheran School (Pierce, NE). Students rotate through centers with a partner several times a week and work on some of the skills that our lessons focus on each week. Students have an opportunity to practice cursive handwriting, the weekly spelling list, and concepts like fact vs. opinion, cause/effect, parts of a sentence and more. I was able to purchase some games and resources for the concepts and some varied materials for spelling and handwriting to make it fun and motivational. Having a variety of materials for centers helps keep them fresh and exciting as a reward for the end of language arts class. Thanks again!"
