An Authentic Partner Along your Journey
At Brick Street Financial Group, we have a deep appreciation for the uniqueness of our clients. Like our clients, we also have a unique practice. We work with two groups of clients:
Farmers and Rural Communities - Even though we have clients throughout the United States, our physical office is in the Midwest in a small farming community in Kansas. We have lived on farms, helped manage farming operations, and are very involved in our rural community. Farmers have unique financial circumstances and planning goals that are outside the norm for most mainstream financial advisors. We understand and have the experience you need.
Women Navigating Major Life Changes Including Divorce or Loss of Spouse - As our practice has grown over time, we have found ourselves helping more women through these processes. Our goal is to help women see their value, have clarity and confidence in their financial futures, and most importantly be a resource for them as they start their new journey.
We are here for you. We can meet in person or virtually via zoom or phone. Contact us today to schedule an appointment.
Meet Our Team

Lydia Hiesterman
FIC, CLTC®, BFA™
Lydia is a transplant to Kansas but not to agriculture. She grew up on a farm in Illinois and has her Bachelors and Masters in Agriculture Economics. She worked in the agriculture industry up until 2016 when she felt the call to find a career where she could make a difference in her community.
Lydia’s office is conveniently located in the "Middle of Everywhere" in Washington, Kansas. While she loves meeting clients in person in her office, the beauty of technology enables her to serve customers from all over the United States. An early adopter to collaborating with other Thrivent advisors, Lydia is part of a team that shares best practices while bringing expertise to customers. Lydia has been recognized as a Premier Practice Leader*, Thrivent Pinnacle Producer**, and a member of the Million Dollar Round Table***.
She helps manage a farm and ranch in north Central Kansas raising corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and cattle. She is a mom to 4: Lorena (12), Ida (10), Dietrich (7), and Hilda (4). She is a huge advocate for Linn Lutheran School and attends Zion Lutheran Church. In her free time, Lydia enjoys visiting her family farm in Illinois and being part of the Via de Cristo movement.
*Recognizing leadership excellence in sales and service to members
**The Peak Performers’ Conference is a sales and service conference recognition for Thrivent.
***MDRT is an industry honor based on sales excellence, outstanding client service, ethical conduct, and professional knowledge
