Have you used your Action Team for the year? If not, we have a great event coming up that could use some support from the local churches and community. Project 1.27 has partnered with Victory Life Church to host a shopping event for foster families. Allowing them to shop for the children in their homes. We have over 160 children in foster homes in Mesa County. Wouldn't it be amazing to give each child a Christmas they can remember feeling loved and cared for. They are still in need of teen aged gifts and family gifts such as a cookie making basket, game night basket, hot chocolate basket. We are hoping to provide each family with a gift that will encourage family fun and quality time together. Please outreach me if I can help with this or any Action Team. Or if you would just like to donate a gift or time. I will be collecting items from now until December 8th at my office located at 1114 N 1st Street, Suite 103, Grand Junction, CO 81501. Feel free to drop toys off during the normal business hours or contact me if you need them to be picked up.
