Doug has a passion for helping others! After a stunningly average basketball career in college Doug started his work career as a youth pastor in Fort Wayne before taking a detour to Wisconsin. It didn’t take long, though, to realize he was really a Hoosier at heart and he returned to northeast Indiana. He was in the auto industry for 15 years and then moved into property and casualty insurance.  After a few years in that field he realized he felt a calling back to a ministry that could provide life change to others. Thrivent offered him a blend of ministry, and life changing opportunities for those he was able to serve.

Doug’s practice empowers individuals with educational and financial resources, making an impact in their families, churches, charities, and the people they love, ultimately impacting the kingdom and honoring God. He knows that there are solid financial principles that work for everyone, but also that each person or couple that he works with is uniquely special. He designs plans, products, and goals that encompass those solid principles but are personalized for everyone. No matter a client’s stage in life, Doug will work with helping them move to the next stage as efficiently as possible.

Doug and his wife Brenda have been married since 1993 and have lived in DeKalb county since 1995. They have three kids who all attended Lakewood Park Christian School and Huntington University. They also have a son in law and a boxer/pit mix named Fletch that have completed their family! Doug and Brenda are members of Dayspring Community Church in Auburn and serve in several capacities at DCC. If it’s college basketball season you can probably find Doug in front of a TV watching an IU game. Doug is also an avid, yet incredibly below average, golfer. When his knees allow it he also enjoys as much time on the basketball court as he can get.

Willie has been a financial advisor at Thrivent for 7 years. He enjoys helping clients recognize that building generational wealth is possible for anyone. He’s passionate about tax efficiency and planning around the concept of minimizing future taxation.

Willie is married to his beautiful wife, Holly, and they share one daughter together. He and Holly are very involved in their local church. In this free time, Willie enjoys traveling, eating, basketball, and everything football

After graduating from Lakewood Park Christian School, Elizabeth went on to study Economics and Finance at Huntington University. She joined the 360 Financial Team as an Office Professional.

She is an active part of Dayspring Community church which she has attended her whole life and has volunteered in various ministries throughout the church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside or with her dog, Fletcher.

Erika has been with Thrivent since 2021 and was previously a Financial Advisor. Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors, sports, and fostering puppies with her 4 children. 

Yogis recently joined Thrivent Financial. Prior to working at Thrivent, he was a Financial Analyst at Texas Tech University. He has finished his Finance degree and worked 4 years in Canada before he moved to the states. He enjoys watching sports and collecting coins.

Madeleine hails from Ames, Iowa originally, but is currently settled in Oklahoma City with her husband and Chiweenie, Percy. After many years of theatre, comedy, and artist management in a a host of different major metropolitan areas, Madeleine found finance during the refinance boom during Covid. She loves it and wants to stay! In her free time, Madeleine is a hardcore crafter. Currently, her favorite is needle painting embroidery.

Leonardo joined Thrivent in 2025 after previously working as an office professional for another company. He has obtained a Master of Science in Finance - Wealth Managemement from C.T. Bauer College of Business in Houston, TX.

He enjoys building computers and spending time with his animals.

Shana joined Thrivent in June of 2023, prior to that she worked 5 years with DXC Technology. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her grandkids and when not with them she spends her time cheering on the Oklahoma Sooner football and softball teams.
