I grew up in the Chicagoland area and now call Fishers, IN home with my wife Lindsay, our two kids Maddox and Maelynn, and our (mostly well-behaved) dog, Rocky.
Before finance, I spent 10 years playing hockey across the country. Hockey teaches you something most people don't learn until much later in life: the game isn't won in the third period, it's won by the habits you built months/years before anyone was watching. That mindset followed me into real estate, where I supported families in the process of buying and selling homes — and I discovered what I actually loved wasn't the transaction, it was helping people step into the next chapter of their life with confidence. That's exactly why I moved into financial planning.
Here's who I work best with:
Most people come to me with one specific question: "Will my money actually provide reliable income once I stop working?" That's a great place to start — but it's rarely the whole story. Once we answer that question, we usually find the rest of your financial picture — savings, investments, accounts in three different places — could use the same kind of clarity. So I don't just build an income plan and walk away. I build you a financial plan, with a reliable income strategy as the foundation, and then I can help manage it with you as your life changes.
I do this so that you can have a plan you can count on so that a bad month in the market doesn't change your plans so that the rest of your money has a real strategy too, instead of just sitting there so that you can make decisions — retiring, helping your kids, giving generously — from a place of clarity instead of guesswork.
Picture this: it's a random Tuesday morning. Instead of wondering whether your retirement income will hold up, or whether the rest of your accounts are doing what they should be, you've got an actual plan — a person who knows your financial picture and a clear answer any time you ask "can we afford this?" That's the difference between having money and having a plan for your money.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me coaching hockey, biking with the kids, or planning our next family trip. I bring the same thing to both: show up, do the unglamorous work early, and the outcome takes care of itself later.
If you're wondering whether your retirement income will hold up — or just know your finances could use a real plan behind them — book a free 15-minute Income & Financial Plan Intro call above, I'll show you exactly where you stand and what your options look like. No pressure, no pitch.
