Our team
I began working in financial services in 2001 and have enjoyed it from the start. As a financial advisor, I love building long-term relationships and partnering with clients to help them make wise money choices aligned with their goals and values. One of my goals is to help clients gain confidence and contentment in their financial planning strategies and increase their probability of financial freedom, both in certain and uncertain times.
My wife, son, daughter and I live nearby and attend Eagle Brook Church in White Bear Lake. I am a member of the Financial Planning Association. When not at the office, I enjoy coaching my elementary-aged kids in basketball and baseball. In addition, I love spending time with friends and family, traveling, cooking, entertaining, camping and hunting with my black lab, Braven.

I started working for Thrivent in 2013 and consider this my encore career because of my passion for financial services. Prior to joining Thrivent, I was an entrepreneur who enjoyed starting and developing businesses. I have also worked for small, medium and large corporate businesses. My industry experience enables me to guide clients through each step of their financial journey. I can assist you with retirement planning, investment management, tax strategies, life insurance, disability insurance and more. I will focus on providing you with sound financial guidance that fits your unique needs and goals.
In addition to helping individuals and families be wise with money, I love inspiring generosity in the community. I volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Open Hands Midway and Feed My Starving Children. Plus, I’m the go-to handyman in our area.
I am married and have three adult children who regularly visit for great meals and cabin time. I enjoy hunting, hiking, biking, woodworking and being outdoors. I’m also a 10-time American Birkebeiner (cross-country skiing) finisher.

While I started my financial services career nearly 35 years ago, I’ve been a Thrivent member for even longer. I believe in and strive to live Thrivent’s purpose of helping people achieve financial clarity and make the most of all they’ve been given.
I’m a Certified Financial Planner and member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals. I partner with each client to uncover their unique story, evaluate their options and help them implement a financial plan in line with their goals and values.
My wife and I live in Roseville where we raised our two adult sons. Outside of the office, we enjoy flea markets, fishing, sitting on our deck with friends and doing just about anything outdoors.

I started working for Wellspring Advisor Group in 2021 after more than 20 years in medical device leadership. I help oversee office operations, facilitate client relationships and coordinate information for those who use our dedicated planning services. I enjoy working with team members and clients to enhance their experience and help them get the most out of meetings.
I am married to Financial Advisor Nick Rasmussen, and we have two kids. We attend Eagle Brook Church and are very involved in the community. I volunteer for the Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation, serve on the Mahtomedi Basketball Association Board and am a team manager for some of my kids’ activities.
In my spare time, I enjoy cheering on my children at sporting events, entertaining friends and family, camping, hiking, traveling, visiting our cabin and spending time with my parents at their winter home in Arizona.
