I joined Thrivent because the company resonates deeply with my personal values and encapsulates the reasons I entered the financial sector. I was a Special Education Teacher for over 10 years and loved helping my students and families feel secure. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I discovered the vast array of information, tools, and strategies aimed at safeguarding and nurturing wealth that people like me were not taking full advantage of. What began as a hobby soon evolved into a passion, prompting me to transition from teaching to a career as a financial planner, where I could extend my assistance to individuals and families in a different capacity. And though the transition from teaching to finance might feel like a giant leap, my core motivation to positively impact lives and help those in need remains unchanged.
