Specializing in retirement income planning and insurance analysis, I will work with you to customize financial strategies that reflect your goals and values. I am passionate about empowering people to save for retirement and pursue their financial dreams. No matter what your financial goals are, I will build a plan around the things that you care about most. My goal is to help you reach a place where you feel like you have enough for yourself – and to share.

I am married to my beautiful wife Shannon, and we have two children that we adore! We love living in Wisconsin and enjoy supporting local philanthropic causes. I understand that life is about those things that bring you joy and doing more with what you have. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing golf, watching sports, biking, fishing, camping, and spending time with my family. I also volunteer with the Chippewa Falls Kiwanis, Chippewa Falls Elks, Lake Hallie Optimist Club, Chippewa Falls Rotary Club and other great organizations across the Chippewa Valley.

Sydney Abebayehu
Sydney AbebayehuInsurance Associate

I grew up in the Twin Cities, where I attended private Christian schools throughout my elementary and high school years. After graduation, I attended the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing with an emphasis in Sales.

From a young age, I knew I wanted a career centered around helping people. Watching my parents work with a financial advisor over the years showed me the impact trusted financial guidance can have on individuals and families, and inspired me to pursue a career helping others build confidence in their financial future.

I am passionate about helping individuals and families protect what matters most through thoughtful financial strategies and insurance solutions. I believe financial security is important at every stage of life and that everyone deserves a plan that provides confidence and peace of mind.

I value serving others with integrity, care, and purpose, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help clients make wise financial decisions that support the people and causes they care about most.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I am an avid home cook and love creating new recipes and gathering people around the table. Building meaningful relationships is one of my greatest joys, both personally and professionally.

She, along with her husband and children, enjoy back road bike rides and peaceful porch sitting - it's the simple moments that bring them the most joy!

Kari became a financial advisor to be the person she wishes she'd had during her own challenging seasons - someone who truly listens, cares, and helps turn uncertainty into confidence. She believes financial guidance should be accessible, compassionate, and rooted in purpose .For Kari, it's all about helping individuals and families live lives rich in meaning, generosity, and a sense of reassurance. Whether you're just starting out, facing a transition, or planning for retirement, she's here to walk alongside you with advice, thoughtful planning and a heart committed to your success.
