About Southern Arizona Financial Advisors

Matt and David have been serving Thrivent members since 2004, together, they have helped hundreds of clients implement financial strategies. As Thrivent Financial Professionals, we aim to provide dedicated planning services rooted in uncompromising integrity and trusted relationships to design, implement, and monitor smart financial strategies and recommendations, based on holistic financial reviews of individual situations. These analysis have helped pre-retired and retired Christians prioritize their life goals and stay on track. .

Joshua Gigstad
Joshua GigstadFinancial Advisor

Joshua joined Southern Arizona Financial Advisors in 2025. He earned his Associate degree in Accounting with a concentration in Tax from Pima Community College in 2024. While in college, Joshua was a member of the U of A’s Pride of Arizona Marching Band, where he played trombone. He remains actively involved in music by playing piano for his church.
