Stephanie has been with Thrivent since 1995 and loves helping people make sense of their financial lives. She focuses on retirement planning—both building wealth and creating sustainable income—using a mix of investments, insurance, and annuities when appropriate.

One of the things she cares most about is helping clients create a meaningful legacy—supporting the people and causes that matter most to them.

Outside the office, Stephanie is deeply involved in service and giving back. She’s participated in mission trips to Honduras, Habitat for Humanity builds, and local outreach efforts like Love Costa Mesa, Orange, and Irvine serve days. She also supports organizations like Project Hope, Full Value Ministries, and World Vision.

Her work has been recognized through Thrivent Charitable’s Voice in Philanthropy award* for facilitating impactful giving, and she’s also a member of Thrivent’s Hall of Legends.

When she’s not working, Stephanie is usually spending time with family or planning her next trip. She has two nieces, two nephews, and a grand-niece, and loves traveling to visit them—along with exploring new places with friends who share her adventurous spirit.

About Stephanie Shields

Luke began his career with Thrivent in 2004 after interning with the organization while completing his degree in finance. As an Associate Wealth Advisor, he focuses on helping clients define what matters most and build personalized financial strategies aligned with their goals and values.


In his day-to-day work, Luke partners closely with individuals and families to understand their priorities and develop thoughtful, tailored plans that help them move forward with confidence. He is currently pursuing additional designations in Special Needs Planning, reflecting his commitment to continued growth and providing specialized guidance, and he values being part of an organization that encourages both financial stewardship and generosity.


Outside of work, Luke enjoys life in Southern California with his wife, Annie, an elementary school teacher, and their two sons, Luke Jr. and Conrad.


When he’s not working, he enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his family—especially camping and hiking—as well as fishing, snowboarding, and golfing.

As a bilingual advisor, she provides guidance in both English and Spanish, so clients feel confident and informed.

Chelsea joined the Shields Cattau Financial Group in June 2025 as a Support Associate, where she focuses on helping develop comprehensive financial plans for clients. Her career in finance began in 2017 in the municipal bond space, building a strong foundation in markets and financial structure. In 2021, she transitioned into a more client-focused role and quickly discovered a passion for helping individuals gain clarity and confidence around their financial goals.


In her role, Chelsea supports the financial planning process by ensuring accuracy, organization, and thoughtful execution behind the scenes. She brings a strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset, helping the team deliver a smooth and consistent client experience.


Originally from South Florida, Chelsea grew up in the Florida Keys and now lives in Broward County with her husband and their son, Liam. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, whether cheering on South Florida sports teams or traveling for a change of scenery. Their home is also filled with energy from their golden retriever, chihuahua, and cat.
