About Sarah Davis

I joined Thrivent in 2011 while I was finishing my business degree at SDSU, where I went on to graduate as the top Business Student with Summa Cum Laude distinction. I initially worked as an Office Professional for two other financial representatives, but in 2013 decided to join their team as a financial professional myself.

I worked as a high school tutor before coming to Thrivent and loved the idea of using education to help people better understand their relationship with money. I’m also somewhat of a comedian (at least I think I am), and I’ve found that people enjoy the financial planning process much more when a bit of humor is involved. Being the lover of education that I am, I’ve earned various financial designations over the years to be able to better help my clients and stay as current as possible.

Most of my clients have never worked with a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional before, so I make sure to explain our processes, methods, fees, and expectation in full before we begin. I also don't believe in using industry or complex/confusing jargon and instead break things down to bite-size pieces to make sure you understand your current situation and choices so you can make the best decisions possible for your family.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in San Diego, California though am loving splitting my time now between there and Spring, Texas. When I'm not working you can find me volunteering with one of the several nonprofits I sit on the board for, singing unabashed at our local karaoke bar, hiking along one of our many beautiful local trails, or hanging out with friends and family.
