The IRS just announced new retirement plan contribution limits for 2026 and these updates could impact your long-term planning

• SIMPLE IRA: $4,000 in 2026 (up from $3,500)

I’m proud to have graduated from the Muncie Chamber of Commerce’s Academy for Community Leadership. Over the last 10 weeks I’ve had the chance to learn so much about Muncie’s history, our current community, and the future we’re working towards
I met a ton of great people along the way and got to do two service projects, organizing donation trucks at the Muncie Mission and removing invasive species at the Red Tail Conservancy. Grateful for this experience and excited to stay involved in the community
Thankful for the opportunity to return to Ball State and speak to the members of Sigma Phi Epsilon, the fraternity that brought me a ton of great friendships and memories in college. It’s always a great time pouring back into the place that shaped so much of who I am
I led a financial education workshop for the third year in a row focused on investing for retirement, building savings habits, and budgeting strategies
We had a great turnout with a lot of engagement and questions, it’s always rewarding to get the chance to talk to a group of guys looking to take control of their financial future early on
I’ve taken over 20 groups to Topgolf since starting with Thrivent, it’s easily one of my favorite ways to spend time with people outside the office
It’s a chance to hang out and have some fun at no cost, just a good time and some golf balls sent flying. (And a club once)
If you wanna go for a round of Topgolf on me, shoot me a message. I’d love to get a group together soon
Very excited to celebrate two years with Thrivent!
Two years ago I met with my very first client, and I’m blessed today to work with over 180 clients. I’m very grateful for everyone that has supported me throughout my career so far whether that be meeting with me, introducing me to friends and family, praying for me, or encouraging me in anyway
These past two years have pushed me to grow not only in knowledge, but also in patience, perseverance, and empathy. I love the opportunity I’m given to have meaningful conversations with people every day and help make a positive impact on their financial lives, the most rewarding part of my job has been seeing the people I work with gain confidence and financial clarity about their financial futures
I’m also thankful to work for a company like Thrivent which inspires people to make the most of their financial lives and reach their financial goals, while having a culture of generosity, using money for a higher purpose, and community impact.
Looking forward to many more years of continued learning, growth, and walking alongside more people on their financial journeys

Next Tuesday September 16th at 6:00 PM Michelle Walker and I will be hosting a watch party for the Estate Preservation for the Next Generation educational webinar led by Eric W. Bilger, FIC, one of our Thrivent advisors out of New York. He will be discussing ways to help you best plan for your future, the future of those you most care about, and preparing for the "what if's" in life. No products will be sold.
It will be at 4101 N. Wheeling Ave, free to attend, and we'll have Pizza King for dinner. We have limited spots so feel free to RSVP by calling our office at 765-212-2307, emailing me at samuel.campbell@thrivent.com, or calling me at 765-808-3333. We'd love to see you there!
We had the opportunity to participate in a Habitat for Humanity build with a group of our Thrivent clients. It's always an awesome time with Habitat making an impact by building housing for families in need
We were thankful for those who signed up to help volunteer with us, it was nice to switch things up and get out of the office. Brought me back to my college days at Menards, safe to say I've still got it
I had a great time at Downtown Muncie's Fire Up Dwntwn with Thrivent Financial, and was happy to tell everyone who stopped by my booth about what I do as a financial advisor and how I help people work towards their financial goals
With over 17.5k people in attendance my table was constantly busy and the day flew by. It was awesome to see the Muncie community come together for a day filled with tons of people checking out different food vendors, businesses, artists, and musicians
Thanks to Fire Up for putting on a great event, looking forward to seeing how they outdo themselves next year!
Our Muncie Sunrise Rotary crew came out to clean up and mulch Rotary Park – and we got it knocked out in under an hour
Honestly I think even we were surprised at how smooth it all went. Just goes to show what can happen when people come together
Happy to be apart of such an awesome group focused on service over self!
I had the chance to sponsor a hole at the Primetrust Mini Golf Mixer with Thrivent, all in support of BY5, a local nonprofit dedicated to strengthening early childhood education in the Muncie community.
PrimeTrust raised $4,290 to support kids and families in the Muncie community!
Team Thrivent started off hot and took an early lead … until the word got out and other teams broke out their wallets to send some sabotages our way. Let’s just say putting with a toilet brush and a tennis racket wasn’t part of the game plan
I’m always grateful for opportunities to help give back and support great causes like BY5 while having fun along the way with great people
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the honor of sponsoring the 4Everlasting x Superator Inc. Basketball League, whose mission is focused on empowering athletes and uplifting communities through sports, leadership, and opportunity
In partnership with the Muncie Boys & Girls Club, Muncie Parks & Recreation, and the Muncie House Authority, Superator Inc. is launching a citywide effort to renovate and restore basketball courts across Muncie like Heekin Park, Musyana Park, and the Boys & Girls Club courts
I had the chance to bring water and snacks for the players and speak with them about the work I do at Thrivent, helping people pursue their financial goals. It was inspiring to see athletes, volunteers, community leaders, and neighbors all come together to create a lasting impact
If you’re looking for a way to give back, support youth, or uplift your city, this is a movement worth joining
Their Summer Showdown Pro-Am Basketball Tournament is July 11-13th at Heekin Park in Muncie, Reach out to Zion or Drew to secure your team’s spot!
Thank you to everyone who nominated me, it's an honor to serve Muncie and Delaware County and I appreciate this recognition.

I recently had the chance to sponsor a team for the Sigma Phi Epsilon Tractor Pull — an event focused on more than just fun and friendly competition. Each team sponsored helps provide Christmas for a family through Secret Families, an incredible organization ensuring families get a Christmas that otherwise would be unable to have one.
After winning it all last year Team Thrivent came in 2nd place, but more importantly we helped make a real difference for a family who needed it.
It’s always a great time reuniting with my SigEp brothers — the friendships and memories we’ve built over the years are something I’ll always be grateful for. Being able to give back to the fraternity that gave me so much while also supporting my community is something I’ll never take for granted.
Looking forward to getting the crown back next year!
You landed the job… but your benefits still feel like a foreign language.
Scrolling through your company’s benefits portal shouldn’t feel like reading legal documents.
Yet here you are—trying to decode words like “vesting,” “premium,” and “deductible.”
→ Unsure if you picked the right health plan
→ Wondering if the 401(k) match is automatic
→ Not even sure what some of the options do
Here’s the truth most people don’t talk about:
You can earn a great salary and still lose money by picking the wrong benefits.
Your total compensation includes more than just what hits your bank account.
And how you use it? That’s where most people fall short.
→ Choosing between HSA vs FSA could save you hundreds
→ Picking the right life/disability insurance matters more than you think
→ Opting into the 401(k) without understanding pre-tax vs Roth might cost you later
Your HR team gives you options.
But they don’t give you personalized advice.
That’s where I come in.
If you want clarity on what benefits actually make sense for your life, I’ll help break it all down.
You shouldn’t feel lost.
You should feel confident.
When was the last time someone actually explained your benefits to you?

Had an awesome time back for the second year in a row at Sigma Phi Epsilon at Ball State University leading a LinkedIn workshop. It was great to see such a strong turnout and engage with so many sharp young guys eager to learn. We covered key strategies on how to use LinkedIn effectively to help them land internships and future jobs, and the questions and discussions were top-notch. Always grateful for the opportunity to give back to my fraternity and help the next generation take steps toward their careers!
January was an incredible way to kick off 2025—12 new households made the decision to take control of their financial future.
It’s inspiring to see so many families and individuals take that first step, whether it’s planning for retirement, eliminating debt, or building long-term wealth.
Your financial future isn’t just about numbers—it’s about financial clarity, confidence, and having a plan that works for you. If you’ve been thinking about getting on track but aren’t sure where to start, let’s talk. Small steps today can lead to life-changing results down the road!
I had a great time helping out in the Muncie Mission's Walk a Mile in My Shoes event with my fellow Muncie Sunrise Rotarians by handing out donuts to those who walked and cleaning up afterwards
This incredible organization helps support those in need in our community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute!
90,000 Hours.
That’s the average amount of time a person spends at work over their lifetime. That’s one-third of your life spent earning a paycheck.
But what if you could retire sooner and still achieve your financial goals?
As a financial advisor, my job is to help you maximize your earnings, grow your wealth, and create a plan that allows you to enjoy more of your life on your terms.
Whether it’s early retirement, a dream vacation home, or simply the peace of mind knowing you're financially secure—I can help you make it happen.

I had a great week at Thrivent's Business Development Conference in Minneapolis among 1,800 of my colleagues
I can't express enough the value I got out of hearing from our leaders about the exciting future of our organization, industry experts and motivational speakers keeping me informed and empowered to make an impact on others financial lives, and to share advice, tips, insights, and stories with my coworkers.
Coming back feeling inspired and excited for what's in store for me this year, looking forward to the chance to help people reach their financial goals
