Brandon comes to the table with a unique background in Engineering, which is a unique and special perspective as a financial advisor. He has always loved learning how things work, why they work the way they do, and a strong desire to make the things he encounters more efficient. His passion led him to graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. From there, he went on to manage large capital projects at both Thilmany papermill and Mercury Marine. These roles required a significant amount of strategy, planning, and maximizing efficiencies while working within a mechanical project budget. Ultimately, his job was to understand the many solutions to a given situation and implement the plan that struck a balance between being the most efficient and optimal for the situation.

He views his role as a financial advisor through the same lens, and finds himself using the same tools, but with a different toolbox. His engineering experience brings the value of an analytical perspective, while still allowing him to dig into the detail and efficiency of your financial strategies. Brandon is extremely passionate about bringing a sense of reassurance to his clients. He loves getting to know each individual and views it as a privilege to be trusted to understand your questions, concerns, and goals for the future. He genuinely gets excited putting together a holistic financial plan that meets your wants in addition to your needs. He has a special interest in being tax-efficient and keeping your hard-earned legacy with the people and places you care about most. Financial advising is a passion for Brandon, and he feels privileged to be a trusted confidant on the financial journey of each individual he works with.

Barb is as loyal as they come - being dedicated to serving Thrivent Financial and its members for 45+ years. Her knowledge and work ethic has always set her apart and it's one of the reasons Thrivent River Point Financial is here today.

After many years of meeting with clients, she now focuses her time and skillset on overseeing our business operations and assists in implementing strategies for growth. We are grateful to still have her as part of our team and value her perspective and insight as the team continues to grow.

Andrea has always had a love of helping people, which led her to the Human Services program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She received her degree, Bachelor of Science in Human Services, in May of 2005. Before graduation she took an internship with Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, working with families in Winnebago and Outagamie counties, and continued with them post-graduation. After the birth of her first child in 2008, she decided to leave the work force for a few years to care for her own family. With her youngest child ready to enter school in, Andrea saw a need at Chilton Area Catholic School and was able to step in to help. She worked there for 5 years and loved working one on one with students helping to shape their minds and hearts, as well as helping staff where she could.

Sometimes God has a path in mind for you that you don’t even see coming until it is set in motion. Through a series of chance events, Andrea found herself with an opportunity to join the River Point Financial Thrivent team. She has enjoyed the transition of moving from working with kids to adults, as each day brings new things to learn and clients to help. Andrea is extremely caring, trust-worthy, thorough, and detail-oriented; always going above and beyond to help both our team and clients out – no matter how big or small the task may be. She loves the upbeat and optimistic culture of the office; but most importantly, she loves that she can continue to bring her own faith into her work. The ability to truly listen to our members in both times of joy and sorrow, and to offer to pray for their circumstances is something she cherishes.
