About Octavio Santos

Octavio has been in the Industry for 26 years and began his career at Prudential Securities as a Financial Professional. Promotions to management came early in his career, and within 4 years he was promoted to Vice President and Regional Sales Manager of the South Florida Territory in 2001. Since then, he has always held Senior Management positions throughout the Industry. Throughout his career, he has received many accolades and awards. He now is proud to have joined Thrivent Financial as a Market Director and will be responsible for Southeast Florida.

Octavio’s management style is a formula for success. He is akin to a steam locomotive with fire in his belly that creates enough steam to move his team forward despite any challenges that might arise. Octavio inspires trust from his team and peers. He knows how to align people around the company’s mission, hire those with complimentary values, and empower them to reach their full potential. Octavio understands that differences fuel our unique perspectives and that these differences cultivate innovation and opportunity.

There are a myriad of aspects about this business that Octavio savors and excels in, but what he enjoys most is cultivating and coaching his Advisors and Managers. He has lived the dream and wants them to as well. Imagine working with a leader who has the ability to sustain superior results over an extended period of time. Octavio has proven over and over that he can galvanize his entire organization to sustain long-term results.

Octavio is a graduate of National University in San Diego, CA where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business and Accounting. He is a US Army and US Navy Veteran. Octavio holds the Series 7, 63, 65, 24 and 53 licenses as well a Florida 2-15 License. He is an active member of NAIFA and GAMA International. He and his wife Blanca reside in Miami and he is also a proud father of 4 adult children and 9 Grandkids!
