Our practice specializes in working with individuals who are retired or who are close to retiring. Most of our clients have saved diligently and accumulated a nest egg of at least $500,000. We've created a process that allows you to determine if we would be a good fit - before transferring assets or paying fees.

 

Step 1 – Initial 15-min Phone Call - During this 15-minute call we will determine if our expertise is aligned with your needs. You wouldn’t want to hire an electrician when you need a plumber. 

 

Step 2 – Discovery Meeting – The goal of this meeting is to understand your financial goals, worries, and situation. We would never want to give directions unless we know where you want to head and where you’re starting from.  

 

Step 3 – AnalysisThis is where our team gets to work. We run the numbers to determine the following: Is your retirement on track? How should your portfolio be managed now you are near retirement? Are you paying too much in taxes? How to handle pensions and Social Security? How much can you safely take form your portfolio each year? What can derail your retirement?

 

Step 4 – Evaluation Meeting – During this 2nd meeting together, we answer the big questions noted above and outline how we would help if we elect to work together. Our aim is to show you how to improve your financial situation and grow in confidence.

 

Step 5 – Think-it-Over – We are not in a hurry to make a decision, and only want to work with clients if it makes sense. Prior to formally deciding, you should determine: Will the value they provide be a multiple of the fee paid? Do I enjoy and respect the team? Does their advice make sense?  


Step 6 – Onboarding At this meeting we will begin paperwork to bring you on board as a client. We also begin focused meetings to finalize recommended action steps to enhance your financial situation.   

 

COST - While everyone's situation is unique, most of our client's begin with our managed account advisement program. The fee structure for those onboarded through that program is:

$500,000-1,000,000……………...1.15%

$1,000,000-3,000,000……………1.00%

$3,000,000-5,000,000……………0.85%

$5,000,000-10,000,000................0.70%

$10,000,000+………………….….0.50%


For those without $500,000 in liquid investable assets, or those who prefer to have assets managed elsewhere we offer stand alone planning services for an annual fee. To learn more about our fee schedule under this arrangement, please reach out to our office.
