About Michael Stade
I joined Thrivent Financial in February of 2019 after 18 years in retail at Walgreens. A close friend of mine asked me in May of 2018 if a career in finance intrigued me. It certainly did especially with my knowledge of this great company. I was eager to start helping Christians achieve financial clarity with the guidance, support, and tools that I can provide.
I was born in Fort Atkinson, Wi, spent my childhood in Janesville, and now live in Milton with my wife, Kelli, daughter, Kayleigh, and son, Maxon. We proudly attend Central Lutheran Church in Edgerton, Wi where we stay active (I serve on church council and stewardship committee and Kelli teaches Sunday School and serves on the family activities committee). We stay very active as a family between camping, sports, and Girl Scouts. During free time I love to hit the golf course or wind down with a great book (I am an avid reader).
