CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS and SERVICE – What I am all about

I have been helping clients with their finances as a financial professional since 2014. My focus has always been on doing what is in the best interest of my clients with deep long-term client relationships and service. I have a special place in my heart for pre-retirees and in particular women, as they plan for retirement.

My father died in his early 60’s which left my mother a widow at the beginning of her retirement which ended with a Medicaid spend-down. Luckily mom was also the recipient of good estate planning by my grandmother and these two life events have shaped my practice. I work alongside my clients to help them transition into retirement with confidence.

I have a process that focuses on creating a trust-based relationship, where I fully understand your goals, you understand what you already have in place and are inspired to take action. I am a part of your team!

PEOPLE, FAMILY and MAKING A DIFFERENCE –What matters to me

I am a connector. I really like people and love to learn about their lives. I enjoy teaching and developing people, whether it be Sunday School, teens or staff. In my spare time I love to play board games, read, host large social events at my house and spend time with my family. I have been married to Tom since 2000 and we have two children, Maddy, who is in college and Ben who is attending OTHS. We also have two dogs at home that keep us busy.

I grew up in Traverse City, MI surrounded by family on all sides. My grandparents were incredibly involved in the community and inspired my desire to volunteer. Making an impact to the causes that matter to me is a driving passion and something I teach my children as well. Our whole family is active in the community and we work hard to do our part.

SERVICE, IMPACT and COMMUNITY – What fills my soul

I was raised in the church but didn’t find Jesus until adulthood at the urging of my husband. I was loved into a relationship with Jesus from the service and relationships I met through my church. I studied the scripture and saw a huge correlation between the community of believers I was surrounded by and the parables taught in scripture. My faith is relevant to me and I pour into projects and community where I can make an impact.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE CAUSES I CARE ABOUT…

Pete Mac Laughlin Memorial Golf Tournament

What did I do for my birthday this year? With a match from Thrivent we again supported the O'Fallon Food Pantry via Ronald Dormer, committee member for the 26th annual Pete Mac Laughlin Memorial Golf tournament!

Very excited to be pictured with Ron Dormer a committee member for the 25th Annual Pete Mac Laughlin Memorial Golf Tournament, held at the Tamarack Golf Club in Shiloh, IL. This tournament raises money for the O’Fallon Food Pantry. I am proud to do my part and donate to the cause.

Children’s and Teen Ministry – Creation Corner, Christ Church

I currently teach preschoolers during children’s church but love working with elementary and student ministries as well. My hope for children in church is to create a place where they associate church and their faith with a place that they feel welcome, safe and loved by those who serve in the ministry and God. Love the sinner; hate the sin.
