There's no place like home!
When I was a little girl, I knew I would attend The Ohio State University. After graduating from OSU, I traveled extensively, eventually relocating to Indianapolis to become a teacher and trainer.
Eventually, I met with my Financial Advisor to see about preparing to take a sabbatical to figure out what I might do next - and she asked me to consider joining her as a Financial Advisor! I didn't know what was involved with joining the profession, but my Advisor told me that she liked to hire "teachers, preachers, and cops - because they have a mind for the community and care for people." This resonated with me so well that I looked into the profession and took a leap of faith - stepping into the financial services industry!
Over the next many years, my career spanned roles in leadership, consulting, and coaching financial advisors to increase their success in serving clients. Realizing my passion for helping people find clarity in their financial lives, I saw a tremendous opportunity with Thrivent to impact clients!
I joined Thrivent in 2019 to undertake the initiative of helping clients understand the value of Thrivent, a Fortune 500 business. My practice enables me to put my purpose into action and directly impact the community by helping individuals, families, and businesses to engage with their financial lives in a planful way.
I live every day to the fullest at work and home with my husband, Philip, and our pups! My family and I regularly invest in our community and mix in time for outdoor activities, including our passion for walking the local trails, gardening, and traveling.
