About Me
I'm proud to be a mom, a wife, a Christian, and Thrivent financial professional.
As a mom and a wife, I understand the value of prioritizing and protecting my family. That may look different for each family, but for mine, I rest assured knowing that if something bad were to happen, my family is protected.
As a Christian, I often think about the parable of the bags of gold/talents in Matthew 25:14-30. My goal is to help people to be good stewards of their money, and to use their gifts for God's glory. I get the privilege of using my gift to help individuals and families at all stages of life by providing personalized financial guidance.
At Thrivent, we view money not as a goal, but as a tool — one that can afford you a life rich in meaning and gratitude. We believe humanity thrives when individuals make the most of all they've been given. I'm here to help you do just that.
I proudly live in and serve the Quad Cities area (Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline, and surrounding towns). I also am licensed in other states and I offer virtual meetings to accommodate you, wherever you're located!
My Passion Transformed into My Career
It’s a funny story hearing how everything comes full circle. Back in 2017, I joined Lead(h)er to build more connections and gain mentorship as a young professional. After working with my mentor, I knew I had a passion for financial literacy (even while building my career in digital advertising).
In 2019, I organized and created a free financial literacy class because I saw friends, family, and colleagues making uneducated and harmful financial decisions and I wanted to do something to help. I was honored to be awarded the Mentee of the Year Award in 2019 through Lead(h)er for this plan.
Unfortunately, the pandemic hit in 2020 and the class was not brought to fruition. However, in my current role as a Financial Advisor, I get to serve and educate others in making wise financial decisions and help them to grow and protect their wealth. My passion transformed into my career.
Cheerful Leader or Cheerleader?
I love to lead with cheer. In fact, I've been awarded a few times throughout my life with honors for supporting and cheering on others.
In 2013, I was in the Miss Wyoming pageant and won a couple of awards, one being the Supporter of the Year for cheering on other contestants and celebrating them.
Fast forward 10 years to 2023, and I was awarded the Cheerful Volunteer Award through Sacred City Church. I was even awarded a bottle of CHEER laundry detergent! Love the creativity!
My goal is to be your cheerleader as well. I'm here to walk alongside you while you make wise financial decisions and I want to cheer you on over the years. We'll celebrate wins both big and small but continue to walk together through all phases.
My Specialties: Retirement Planning
Retirement looks different for everyone. Maybe for you, it looks like sipping a cup of coffee while sitting on the porch of your beach house. Or maybe it looks like traveling to exotic countries and filling your passport with stamps. Or maybe it looks like relaxing at home and actually having the time to pick up that hobby you'd always wanted to try. Whatever it is, I'm here to help you put a plan in place to achieve your retirement goals.
"A dream without a plan is just a wish."
And I'm here to help you build a customized plan so your financial strategy isn't just a wish, but a reality.
My Specialties: Families
I am passionate about helping families to make wise financial decisions. That often includes income protection, retirement planning, and children's education.
Income protection can simply be broken down as life insurance and disability income insurance. Many employers provide some options for individuals and families, but often times, not much thought is put into the selection process. I am here to help evaluate options and help you to sleep well at night, knowing that your family is protected in case of loss.
Saving for children's education is often a selfless goal that many parents consider. Whether that looks like private school in the younger years or a college education down the road, I am here to help you find tax efficiencies and set a plan in place to reach your goals!
