About Koine Advisor Group
The Koine Advisor Group isn’t an office full of people you meet just once or twice. We’re here to make sure the financial guidance process is based on your goals and values. You’ll get to know the whole team as you schedule your appointments, build and implement a plan, call with questions, attend our social events, lead a Thrivent Action Team and introduce us to your friends and family. We’ll help you make decisions around your insurance, investing and retirement planning needs by getting to know what really matters to you. We see money as a tool, not a goal, and through this lens can accomplish more in bringing you real satisfaction.

Joining Thrivent in 2011, Jon has served in many roles from financial professional to field leadership for Thrivent. In 2018, Jon returned to private practice working with his senior partner Mark Stanko. It was at this time, Jon created the Koine Advisor Group for the puprose of bringing the complex world of finances into simple terms. Today, the Koine Advisor Group has grown to a robust, experienced team of financial professionals ready to serve our community. Before working for Thrivent, Jon served as pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford, Wisconsin. Jon married his wife Melissa in 2003. They have been blessed with four children: Caleb, Bethany, Kara and Anna. In his spare time, you will find Jon serving as organist for Cross of Glory Lutheran Church in Washington, MI.View profile

I am a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester, MI and represent St. John as an Advisor on the Rochester Area Neighborhood House board. Before coming to Thrivent Financial in 2016, Ann worked in financial services, gaining experience in the areas of financial planning and client services. In 2019, she joined the Koine Advisor Group, a robust, experienced team of financial professionals, shifting the complex world of finances into simpler terms. Ann works with individuals, families and small businesses. It’s her goal to develop personal strategies that assist clients in growing and protecting their assets.

Ann is blessed to be married to her husband, Roy, since 1991. They are thankful to have raised Felicia, a graduate of Valparaiso University, and Alec, who attends Concordia University in Ann Arbor. Ann is an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, participating in bible studies and women’s ministry. She also enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.
