Joining Thrivent in 2011, Jon has served in many roles from financial professional to field leadership for Thrivent. In 2018, Jon returned to private practice working with his senior partner Mark Stanko. It was at this time, Jon created the Koine Advisor Group for the puprose of bringing the complex world of finances into simple terms. Today, the Koine Advisor Group has grown to a robust, experienced team of financial professionals ready to serve our community. Before working for Thrivent, Jon served as pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford, Wisconsin. Jon married his wife Melissa in 2003. They have been blessed with four children: Caleb, Bethany, Kara and Anna. In his spare time, you will find Jon serving as organist for Cross of Glory Lutheran Church in Washington, MI.

I joined Thrivent in 2015 as a Financial Professional and transitioned into the Koine Advisor Group in 2019. Through my years as an IT Executive, I gained significant experience in helping companies achieve their technology goals. This experience has been invaluable in establishing strong relationships with my clients and helping them achieve their personal, financial, and generosity goals. My husband Joe, and I, are empty nesters, having raised 4 boys. I am a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester, MI and represent St. John as an Advisor on the Rochester Area Neighborhood House board. Joe and I love traveling, golf, and spending time with our extended families. I am licensed to do business in MI, PA, OH, TX, CO and IL Life/Health Insurance, Variable Annuity Insurance.

Before coming to Thrivent Financial in 2016, Ann worked in financial services, gaining experience in the areas of financial planning and client services. In 2019, she joined the Koine Advisor Group, a robust, experienced team of financial professionals, shifting the complex world of finances into simpler terms. Ann works with individuals, families and small businesses. It’s her goal to develop personal strategies that assist clients in growing and protecting their assets.

Ann is blessed to be married to her husband, Roy, since 1991. They are thankful to have raised Felicia, a graduate of Valparaiso University, and Alec, who attends Concordia University in Ann Arbor. Ann is an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, participating in bible studies and women’s ministry. She also enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

I have been married to Larry for 36 years. I have a son Colin, a daughter Amber and one grandson Elijah, who is the light of my life! I have worked in an office setting since I graduated from high school over 40 years ago. I’ve worked here for 5 years and took on the role of Office Manager after the Koine Advisor Group was formed. I enjoy movies, reading, spending time with my family, and especially babysitting!

I have been married for 34 years to Jim, we have three children. Andrew is 28 and lives in New York. Joshua is 25 and is an electrician. Julianne is 20 and is attending MSU. We love living in a small city with everything in walking distance. 

My goal is to support our team by managing our client's regular interaction with the team and connecting them to educational opportunities provided by the Koine Advisor Group.
