Joining Thrivent Financial in 2006, Tim’s expertise as a Financial Associate is reflected in guiding members along life’s financial journey. He first began working for Thrivent after receiving a bachelor of arts degree in psychology at Denison University and a master’s degree at Trinity Lutheran Seminary. Following the loss of his father at a young age, Tim chose to devote his life to helping people with their finances. After experiencing the devastation from the sudden death of a loved one and the financial turmoil it can bring, Tim was sure that this was where he could make the biggest impact in the lives of others. He has seen the positive effect that thoughtful legacy planning can make – or perhaps the tremendous burden that a lack of planning can cause. This first-hand experience explains Tim’s passion in helping his clients prepare financially to ensure that they are on track to achieve the retirement they have dreamt of, while protecting their loved ones from the unnecessary stress, burden, time and expense. During his free time, Tim enjoys camping and hiking alongside his wife and two children. He appreciates staying in touch with lifelong friends and looks forward to a semi-annual fishing trip.View profile

Following 10 years of teaching third grade in Ohio, Brittany went on to become a Thrivent Financial Associate in 2013. Today, she and her husband Tim run a joint practice, “Kensington Valley Associates,” where they serve clients primarily located in Livingston and Oakland Counties.Brittany is committed to educating and providing an environment where clients can assure they are receiving reliable information, helping them make important long-term financial decisions. Brittany adds that it is her responsibility to provide the appropriate guidance for you and your loved ones, allowing you to gain confidence over your finances in the next chapter of your life. Away from work, Brittany relishes spending time with her husband, two children, Luke and Adie, and their two family dogs. She enjoys to workout, camp and spend time renovating their home in Brighton.View profile
