23 years ago, I was sitting in my third grade classroom when our country was attacked by terrorists. I remember my teacher being unsure about if she should tell us what had happened, and I remember not understanding the significance of what was going on at the time. As I grew up, I came to understand the weight of the tragedy that took place that day. I’ve met people who lost loved ones in the attack and had to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives. I was also fortunate to be able to visit the memorial at ground zero a number of years ago, which was very humbling. I’ll forever be thankful to those who risk their lives to protect our country and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the USA.
Never Forget.

It takes the contributions of every family member to make a household run. If a stay-at-home spouse gets injured or sick, life and finances can be affected just as much as if a primary income earner’s ability to earn is affected.

Just a friendly reminder to regularly check your various financial accounts, including checking, savings, credit cards, etc. I recently had a bad actor fraudulently use a card number to make unauthorized purchases. There are typically protections in place for cardholders in situations like this to protect against losses from unauthorized purchases, but it can still create a headache trying to clean up the mess. You may not even have access to all of your money for a short period of time while your financial institution investigates. If you catch something suspicious early, it can save you a lot of hassle. 💵
