Supporting your community is easy with Thrivent Action Teams.
Apply to lead a fundraiser, educational event or service activity. Then, gather a team of volunteers to make an impact together. Thrivent provides seed money and a customized kit of resources to get you started. Your team provides the passion to bring it to life.
Your Kit
Once your project application is approved, you'll receive a package of customized resources and tools to kick-start your project. Boxes may include:
- A pennant banner.
- Thank-you cards, name tags and stickers.
- Thrivent Action Team T-shirts.
- A Community Impact Card with funds up to $250.
Save time and increase impact with these digital tools included in your kit:
- Digital thank-you notes to send after your event.
- A personalized project webpage to share with your community.
- Photo upload to collect and share photos.
- An RSVP feature to invite friends and family to volunteer alongside you.

Dari helps guide you through the caregiving journey by providing access to a comprehensive library of articles, podcasts and videos, and the ability to connect directly with licensed, credentialed experts on caregiving and aging.

Giving Tuesday - Santa's Workshop @ LifeWise StL
Join us for Santa's Workshop - a Giving Tuesday event where every act of generosity helps bring about meaningful change. Bring your Holiday Market drive items, enjoy a hot cocoa bar, snacks, and treats, help the elves build bikes for the Holiday Market, and get a professional family photo with one of Santa's reindeer! To help us reach our $40,000 goal, you can bring your donation in person - or donate that day online.

*Donations made online to featured organizations through Thrivent’s giving platform and at in-person events on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, will be matched $1 for every $2 donated up to $20,000 per Thrivent Member Network. Thrivent will pay up to $300,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent’s online giving platform.
A Lifetime Gift with Shelly Halverson
We plan for weddings, college, vacation, and retirement. Why is it so hard to plan for death? Get tools to help you talk to loved ones and prepare at A Lifetime Gift when Certified Celebrant Shelly Halverson suggests open conversation and offers a practical checklist filled with encouraging instructions.
