I recently attended an event hosted by friend and Thrivent member Alees Edwards, that gave community leaders a platform to discuss strategies to make communities safer. I also attended a "State of the State" conversation hosted by the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce that discussed what Illinois is doing to help and attract small businesses. Both great discussions that serve as inspiration to make a positive impact on our city!
