I have a BS in Material Science Engineering from Washington State University and an MBA from Seattle University. My dad is retired enlisted Air Force and so we struggled to have food on the table sometimes. My parents did their best but I did not want that lifestyle, so I joined the Navy and became a Surface Warfare Officer Nuclear Engineer. I loved helping Sailors with their financial goals as my last position prior to retiring was as the Regional Command Financial Specialist for Everett, Whidbey Island and Naval Base Kitsap, helping Sailors transition from the military.
