Yet, in the Bible, we read about a kingdom where it is considered foolish to "eat the bread of anxious toil" (Psalm 127), short-sighted to "tear down your barns and build bigger ones" (Luke 12:18) and where fear and greed are described as thorns that keep us from bearing fruit that's of any lasting value (Matthew 13:22).
