I grew up in Strasburg, CO (a small town east of Denver - my parents still live there). I’m a farm boy - grew up raising hogs & cattle. I graduated from Texas Lutheran College (now University) in 1994 with a degree in Mass Communications, and I came to work at Thrivent in the spring of 2004 after working in broadcasting and haven't looked back since.
My wife, Jennifer, and I met while in college by being set up on a blind date, and we have now been married for 29 years. Jen is the Associate Director for
