In 2008, my dad passed away at just 44 years old. He had no life insurance, no will, no real savings — and I was left with a quarter-million dollars of debt, a broken-down house, and an unusable car.
That experience changed everything for me.
I started in this business in 2009 because I wanted to make sure the people I cared about never had to face that kind of uncertainty alone. What began as part-time work doing taxes and helping families with life insurance and estate planning conversations eventually became my full-time career.
Today, after three years with Thrivent and many previous years in financial services, my “why” is still the same: helping people prepare for the future, protect what matters to them, and feel more confident amidst our changing times.
