Diane Knorr
Diane KnorrFinancial AdvisorFIC, CLTC®

Diane joined Thrivent in 2009, having spent the previous 18 years in agriculture lending and banking. After receiving her associate degree from Willmar Community College, she earned her bachelor’s at Southwest Minnesota State University, majoring in business administration and minoring in marketing. 

Community service is important to Diane, and in recent years, she has served on the Foundation Board at Ridgewater College, as the Unit 37 commander of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, as Chaplain for the State of Minnesota Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and on her church’s Endowment Committee and Parish Personnel Ministry Team. She and her husband are dedicated fundraisers for the Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest after having children and grandchildren utilize their services.

She’s happiest spending time with her husband, Clint and her two sons and their families.

Christine Ruppert
Christine RuppertFinancial AdvisorFIC, CLTC®

Christine joined Thrivent in 2013 and loves serving as a financial advisor. Prior to joining Thrivent, she worked as an Accounting Manager for a medical device company and prior to that a large mechanical contracting company. Christine earned her bachelor’s degree at St. Cloud State University, majoring in business.

She enjoys being active in the community. Currently she is an Ambassador for the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce which actively supports and promotes Hutchinson and the surrounding business community.  In recent years, she has served on her church council, spiritual formation committee, and discipleship committee, McLeod County Relay for Life and preparing and serving meals for those in need.  She’s currently a member of the Today’s Women of Hutchinson which actively fundraises to support the needs of the community.

Christine enjoys time with her children but is currently an empty nester and loves to travel with family and friends.

Michelle Bekkala
Michelle BekkalaFinancial Advisor

Michelle joined Thrivent in 2023, driven by her passion for helping clients start their financial planning early. She believes in empowering them to view money as a tool for freedom rather than an end goal, and she approaches financial planning with a holistic perspective. In addition to financial planning, Michelle assists clients with their protection needs, including long-term care, life insurance, and disability insurance. With 17 years of experience as an entrepreneur and real estate investor, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her clients. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan Technological University in 2005, majoring in mathematics and minoring in psychology.

Committed to community service, she serves on the Board at Meeker County Hospital and is currently the President of the Hutchinson Rotary Club. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Wes, and their four children. They love to travel together and especially cherish their time at their cabin on Portage Lake in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Dawn MortonOffice Professional

Dawn has been working at Thrivent Financial since 2004 and enjoys engaging in phone conversations with clients, ensuring that they stay connected with their Thrivent Advisor yearly. 

Dawn grew up in Big Stone City, South Dakota, but currently resides in Waconia with her husband, Larry. She has 3 wonderful, adult children, Sydney, Whitney and Preston. When Dawn is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and staying connected to her close friends. One of Dawn’s favorite trips was when her eldest daughter, Sydney, surprised her with the opportunity to go on a dental mission trip to Guatemala in 2019. From experiencing the culture to meeting locals and even helping with the dental mission, this is one trip that has left a long-lasting impact on her heart! She hopes to visit again soon.

Theresa Janechek
Theresa JanechekMarketing Coordinator

Theresa has a driving passion to help others by utilizing her talents and gifts in a positive and impactful way. She enjoys helping with our team’s marketing efforts and helping to plan our events.

Theresa works remotely from her home in Woodbury where she has lived with her husband Jeff since 1993. She enjoys riding her e-bike, volunteering, long drives, playing cribbage, traveling to see her favorite musicians, watching football and spending time with family and friends. What is most important to her is the happiness and well-being of her family and friends.
