About Gretchen Franti
About Gretchen Franti

I grew up in a household where planning for your future was important. When I was 16, my parents introduced me to Thrivent and purchased my very first life insurance policy to protect me as I embarked on my first steps into adulthood. After growing up in Rochester, NY and graduating from the University of Dayton in OH, I have now lived in Virginia for over 20 years. My husband and I met at our church in Alexandria and have been married for 21 years. I worked as a photographer in the DC metro area for 10 years and then moved to the country to start a family. My three boys are all in school now, and I’m excited to have a fulfilling career with the company that I have been a member of since I was a teenager. I enjoy meeting new people as well as connecting deeper with the people I already know. I enjoy volunteering at the school, the local gym and my church. I stay busy running my three boys to and from sporting activities, and together we like to go camping and hiking.

Charitable trusts: pros, cons, and which type is right for you
Charitable trusts: pros, cons, and which type is right for youNot all charitable trusts work the same way. A charitable remainder trust provides income to you or another beneficiary first, with remaining assets eventually going to charity. A charitable lead trust essentially reverses the order, providing support to charity first, with remaining assets going to noncharitable beneficiaries. If you’ve ever wondered how charitable trusts work or how the different types compare, this may be a useful place to start. ⬇️ Have questions after reading? Let’s connect.
