I followed my husband Rick to Thrivent in 2007. I enjoy helping our clients with retirement income strategies and insurance planning. I have a particular passion for supporting women who make financial decisions alone, and love it when I can be a “second brain” for an independent woman. My roots are in the Columbia Basin and I am a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University. Gig Harbor has been my home since I married Rick in 1991. We have two adult children and savor any time spent with family. When I am not at work, I might be waterskiing, snow skiing, paddling, or hosting a pot-luck. I believe remarkable dividends come from shared moments over shared dishes. 

I chose to join Thrivent Financial in 2007 because the organization values align with my own. I enjoy providing my clients with sound portfolio development and management, retirement income strategies, and charitable and legacy planning. My previous experience as a successful retail business owner and property developer gives me unique insight which benefits clients with closely held businesses. I grew up on the West slope of Tacoma and graduated from the University of Puget Sound. Gig Harbor has been my home since the early 1980s. When I am not helping my clients be wise with money, you will likely find me boating in the Puget Sound, solving a yard project, or taking my wife on a dinner date.

DeeAnn Guthrie came to Thrivent after retiring from a 27 year career as a bank manager. In addition to her scheduling and office management duties, she provides notary services to our clients.

Peggy supports our office with documentation, forms, applications and much more. She has a wealth of knowledge from working 15 years at Thrivent Corporate and several years in the Field as well.
