About George Longfellow
I'm proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. I provide personalized advice and guidance to people at all stages of life.
I am blessed to have passions in my life and my goal is to help others find their passion and build a plan to allow them to spend more time and resources to do the things they are passionate about.
Some of my passions include
-Volunteering and helping with the Wesley Food Pantry, particularly I love gardening so getting to help with the gardening is always fun.
-I have enjoyed running over the years, including participating in the Champaign St Jude run, fundraising for St Jude Hospital as well as completing the 2015 Chicago Marathon.
-Spending time with my wife Dawn, and visiting our kids Sydney and Cameron whenever we can sneak away to see them.
-I love finding time to get out to the golf course either for a casual round with friends or a scramble to raise money for good causes
Running the 2015 Chicago Marathon was definitely a bucket list item I never would have thought I would accomplish, but the environment running through the city was amazing.
Wesley Food Pantry Gardens
Gardening is a hobby so being able to help with the Wesley Food Pantry garden projects is a ton of fun, work and reward. I love to hear how excited the Pantry clients are to partake in the wonderful produce the Pantry grows every year.
