About Gabriel Solis

Helping people has always been a passion of mine. I graduated from Providence College in 2011 with a BA in Social Science and a minor in Accountancy, but I was most impacted by my mission trip to Haiti after the devastating magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the impoverished nation. At the time, I majored in Accountancy, but this experience changed my course, and I decided to work as a teacher out of college.

After earning my master’s degree in Secondary Education with a Math Concentration from UMass Boston in 2013, I went on to teach Math and Leadership & Life Skills to middle school students for 9 years. I later completed a Principal Fellowship program while working to manage the Social and Emotional Learning programs for a network of 5 schools consisting of 2,000+ students. These experiences have served as integral building blocks in my career as an Associate Representative. My career as an Associate Representative is a perfect marriage between my two passions - personal finance and teaching.

I feel a strong desire for others to feel the financial peace that purposeful planning has provided my family. In 2020, I decided it was time for me to make the jump back to my roots and into the personal finance industry in service to others.

For the past 3.5+ years, I’ve worked with numerous clients on their personal finance journeys as a Paraplanner and Financial Advisor. I've guided numerous clients towards developing a clear and purposeful financial picture for their lives.

Outside of work, I'm married to my beautiful wife Prida, and we have four incredible children together: Adrian, Natalia, Christian, and Victoria. I love to run, play baseball, watch all things Boston sports, and spend as much time as I can with my wife and kids.

Thrivent has provided an opportunity for me to maximize my gifts and talents while also maximizing my time within the community through service projects. A core building block at Thrivent is to be a part of the community. We believe money is a tool and I look forward to diving even deeper into the community and ultimately, start a school of my own.

I look forward to learning more about you. Let's connect!
