Martin was originally from Decorah, Iowa and in 1991, he graduated from Luther College with a Bachelors degree in Business Management. After graduation, he spent 2.5 years in the US Army with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. He has been with Thrivent since 1999 and he has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. He is married to his wife Michele and has two children, Alayna (13) and Amelia (11).
