🌳 Tree Planting Day 🌳

We are ending our office Grand Opening week with a community tree planting event with the Allegheny County Parks Foundation, helping make a positive impact right in our local park. Please reach out to our office to RSVP or if you have any questions at 412-748-0625. 

Agenda for the day: 

o 9:00 – 9:15am: Introductions from ACPF Staff and Park Rangers

o 9:15 – 9:30am: Rangers provide planting instructions and safety overview

o 9:30 – 11:45am: Planting time – This is dependent on the number of volunteers, it is possible we end early depending on group size

o 11:45am – 12:00pm: Wrap up and group photo

Waivers: All volunteers must sign our waiver: https://acparksfoundation.org/acpf-waiver/

Attire: Participants should wear long pants and closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather. The Allegheny County Parks Foundation will provide tools and personal protective equipment for everyone including gloves, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own.

What to bring: Please bring a water bottle. We will have water and snacks on site for everyone.

Weather: Dress for the weather, as we will plant trees rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, someone from our team will contact you should we need to reschedule.
