🌳 Annual Family Picnic & Tree Planting Day 🌳
Join us for our Annual Family Picnic, this year with a special twist! We’ll kick off the morning with a community tree planting event with the Allegheny County Parks Foundation, helping make a positive impact right in our local park. After we wrap up, stick around for a relaxing family picnic at North Park, complete with great food, good company, and plenty of fun for all ages. Not able to come for the tree planting in the morning? We would love to still see you at the picnic! Feel free to stop by anytime between 12 & 2. Agenda for the day:
o 9:00 – 9:15am: Introductions from ACPF Staff and Park Rangers
o 9:15 – 9:30am: Rangers provide planting instructions and safety overview
o 9:30 – 11:45am: Planting time – This is dependent on the number of volunteers, it is possible we end early depending on group size
o 11:45am – 12:00pm: Wrap up and group photo
o 12-2PM: - Annual FSG Family Picnic
