Church Economics: Funding the Mission in Today's Economy

-
120 W. Jefferson St, Morton, IL
Thrivent Office - Morton

Join us for a church leaders luncheon!

Churches today face unprecedented financial pressure. Flat or declining tithes and offerings, shifting generational views on giving, and rising economic burdens are straining outdated models of support. In the 21st century, depending solely on the plate is no longer sustainable.

In this lunch we'll:

  • Rethink economic models and move beyond sole dependence on congregational giving through tithes and offerings.
  • Confront the cultural and economic challenges facing today’s ministries.
  • Consider new models of resourcing that create multiple streams of income and expand missional vibrancy.
  • Explore what it takes to embrace innovative approaches that allow churches not only to survive but to thrive.

This will be a videocast presented by Dr. Mark DeYmaz, an author and founding pastor of Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas.

11:30 am - Networking and lunch

12:00 pm - Presentation and discussion

This event is hosted by the Exponent Group of Thrivent. No products or services will be sold.
