About Elida
When I'm not helping clients or working with non-profit organizations in my community, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and our 2-year-old Shiba Inu. Together, we love exploring Colorado, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and going to movies, concerts, and Broadway plays. We also like to get involved together in our community by volunteering for projects - from food banks to fashion shows! And I love photography, with capturing the beauty of nature and the energy of concerts being my favorite subjects. We enjoy making the most of our time together while embracing new experiences.
Connecting with me is easy!

My Why
I am a first-generation American, deeply influenced by the values of community and mutual support that are central to my culture. From a young age, I was entrusted with bookkeeping for the family businesses and managing my grandparents' personal finances, often offering financial advice long before I had formal training! At 22, I began my career in the finance industry beginning in mortgage origination, motivated to help protect those targeted by predatory lending practices.
I quickly advanced by moving into underwriting, fraud detection, forensic underwriting, loan acquisitions and compliance. My passion for helping others led me to further my education at the University of Georgia, where I obtained a degree in Paralegal Studies. I then worked to assist the undocumented community in helping them understand their options for citizenship, all while maintaining my role in finance.
Most recently, I've continued my professional growth by earning licenses in Life & Health, SIE, Series 7 and Series 66, enabling me to expand my ability to support families and small businesses in navigating their financial futures. My journey has always been driven by a deep commitment to education, advocacy, and empowering others to make informed decisions about their finances.
My immigrant parents and grandparents taught me the values and importance of hard work, education, resilience, and always giving back to those in need in our community.

Non-Profit Organizations
I am deeply passionate about working with non-profit organizations in my local community and around the world. I am honored to be able to sit on some of their committees to witness firsthand the incredible impact they are making. The work that they do to help make our communities a better place to live for everyone is nothing short of amazing! Please ask me how I can help partner with your non-profit organization to help you grow!
