I got the privilege of growing up in the small town of Ashkum, IL.\u00a0I come from a large extended family where we still get together for all of the things... When tragedy strikes, Thrivent clients and the community often want to reach out and help. That spirit of compassion is needed now more than ever as catastrophic tornadoes have deeply affected families and communities across Kankakee County in Illinois. Thrivent is coming alongside you to support those impacted by the devastation.


Here are three ways:

      Make a donation; Thrivent will boost it!

Donate to support disaster relief efforts. For every $2 you donate to United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties through Thrivent's online giving platform Thrivent will add $1*.

Thrivent will also pay all the processing fees so 100% will go directly to the cause. ** 

      Apply to lead a Thrivent Action Team

Jump into action and lead a Thrivent Action Team with your friends, family and co-workers.

When you apply, input “Disaster 2026” in the Promo code field to expedite the shipping of your Thrivent Action Team kit. 

Note: Apple or Google Pay users- choose the electronic credit card option on the application to receive the seed money within one business day of approval.
