About Dan Kluis
I am proud to be a Thrivent financial professional. When I graduated college, I knew I wanted to help people. At that time, I thought that would happen in a medical setting, helping to develop a cure for Alzheimer’s. My path to becoming a financial advisor was not a direct one. Two decades ago, I was running a take and bake pizza place that I had started with my dad, and after his passing I needed to make a change.
I can’t say that I ever expected to be a Financial Advisor, but it has turned out to be a way that I can truly help people improve their lives in a very tangible way. I guess my early memories of saving change in an old pay phone for family outings have come full circle. I help people save and plan with intention, just not in an old pay phone!
When I am not working with my clients, I love to be out with my kids fishing, and watching them partake in their school sporting events. I also love gardening and cooking. Always trying new techniques pruning my fruit trees, or developing a new recipe for dinner.
