Our team
I started working for Thrivent in 2012, following in my dad’s footsteps. I thoroughly enjoy building relationships with clients and helping them work toward their financial goals.
Before my career in financial services, I was a teacher and coach for 11 years. I have a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Minnesota and played soccer there during college. My master’s degree is from the University of Sioux Falls.
My husband, Rob, and I have two children: Sullivan and Collyns. We love watching and playing sports. I also enjoy being outdoors, running, working out and cooking.

I joined Thrivent in 2022 and am proud to be part of a company that believes money is a tool, not a goal, and that life is better when it's filled with purpose and generosity. I am passionate about creating meaningful relationships with my clients and helping them meet their potential.
I was born and raised in Northwest Iowa by parents who taught me the value of hard work, helping others and being invested in the community. I have implemented these values in my personal life and career, and I am forever grateful for what my parents taught me.
I attended Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and enjoyed playing on the golf team for four years.
In 2021, I married my high school sweetheart, Brooke. Together, we enjoy spending time outdoors, playing games, going on walks and making memories with family and friends. We love to be active and are always looking for our next adventure.
I’m also involved in Junior Achievement, where I am able to teach students about real-world financial topics. I enjoy partnering with schools and hope to have even a small impact on students’ lives.

I started my financial advisor career in 2010 when I moved from UPS to an investment firm. In 2018, I joined Dakota Platinum Group to work with financial professionals who are dedicated to helping people thrive in their financial lives.
I grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and spent most summers up north at our family’s lake cabin with many relatives. After high school, I was fortunate enough to continue my athletic career at the University of South Dakota. I had a great experience playing college football and getting my degree.
While at college, I met my wife, Alicia, who is from Chamberlain, South Dakota. We married in 2008 and made Sioux Falls our home. We have two wonderful boys: Mac and Miles. We love visiting my family’s lake cabin, traveling to Arizona and Hawaii to visit family, playing cards and watching our boys in their activities. In addition, I like golfing, musky fishing, hunting, and attending live sports events and concerts.
In my spare time, I also enjoy teaching young people about personal finance and investing. I’m very involved in Junior Achievement, which helps students learn about financial topics. I’ve taught kids of all ages during the past 10 years and hope they have learned something that will better their financial lives.
